  |     |   Food and Recipes

Autumn is in the air, and you may have considered hosting a party to welcome the season. Whether you're hosting a casual football game party or a formal dinner party, your guests will be thrilled if you include some of these pumpkin flavored delights!

1. Pumpkin Juice

If kids are coming to the party, then this drink from "Harry Potter" is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Mix the following ingredients in a blender.

  • 32 ounces of apple juice or apple cider as a base
  • Six tablespoons of pumpkin puree
  • Ten ounces of peach, pear, or apricot juice (your choice!)

For best results, serve cold to all your little wizards!

2. Perfect Pumpkin Bread

You probably already have everything you need in your pantry to make this simple pumpkin bread, except for the pumpkin puree. Mix all ingredients and pour into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes. Allow bread to cool before serving.

3. Pumpkin Pancakes

Make pancakes as directed on box using 1 cup of pancake mix. Fold in 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, 1/2 cup of pecan pieces, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Cook just like regular pancakes, flipping when bubbles appear on top. For extra indulgence, serve with a dollop of whipped cream!
